Writing Section
Note: If you are taking the MCAT in 2015, or beyond, this section does not apply to you because AMCAS is planning on removing the writing section.
If you've read My Story, then I know you have taken my advice - You've read all your assigned school readings, turned in all your papers on time, and have practiced this section on each test. Therefore, this section shouldn't be a problem for a scholar like yourself. Just remember, there isn't a spell checker. Also - content/grammar > than spelling.
. You will have two writing prose and 30 minutes to complete each. You cannot go back and work on the first one after you've submitted it. Essentially, you'll have to write 2 essays, that are about 3 paragraphs long.
1st paragraph - Supports Statement
2nd paragraph - Refutes Statement
3rd paragraph - Closing
